Spring Fling

Day 12

Actually out of town today and tommorow so not going to be around for their weekly update. Watered them very well and will be gone a total of 3.5 days so hopefully all is well when I return. They are still growing super fast and are really impressing me with their rate of growth. Here are some photos yesterday before taking off. Notice the "runt"s leaves are so wide I can hardly call her a runt still with a straight face. Cheers 420!

Day 16

The girls are looking awesome! Ive decided to go ahead and top dress them for the first time which will include 50/50 coco/soil with the addition of a heaping cup of bat guano and about 3 cups of worm castings. This is over kill I know combined with the 4-4-4 organic fertilizer residing within their mediums, but I believe this will give them all a good rush of perhaps just a few nutes they did not previously have access to. Also they are so huge and growing so vigorously I want to be positive they are not hungry, at least not yet until an even larger root system has been established.
As far as mainlining goes they are all on their 4th node with a tiny 5th node starting on each with the exception of the "runt" PE (yea right!). The runt is actually still only on its 4th node with no sign of the 5th yet for her although her leaves are by far the widest.

Cheers gang! Completely stoned on Wedding Cake and Star Dawg today. Hope you and your peeps are stoned too!

This hobby truly is one of the best things Ive found to channel good, positive energy into. I love it.
Mate, I couldn't agree more!
Completely stoned on Wedding Cake
It was you who was growing the WC! I couldn't remember who it was. How was your harvest? Mine was little but it is potent and I love it at night before I sleep. Giving the sativas a go in the day.

WC is a fam fav and its going fast. Very fast onset and pretty lengthy buzz when ya smoke an entire bowl or 2. I find i like it for just about any situation myself! breakfast or dinn! cheers

Day 21

Wowser my girls are really taking off. Ive already began some dirty work to begin their manifold training also. Taking what I learned last grow and trying to make some much larger colas this time. Like most things, I believe patience is of the absolute upmost importance next to genetics when it comes to this training. 3/4 of my sprouts are now at 6 nodes which means my least favorite part is coming very soon...Ive already taken their growth shoots from nodes 1 and 2 promoting all the juice to that 3rd where I want my main branches to form. Last grow I was confused on what to take and when, not this go. I also topped them perhaps a little early last time too which is bad halting root growth probably, so again, not this time. Their toppings are coming no worry, I just want to be absolutely sure they are going to bounce back as quickly as possible after the snip. I cant get over how large especially the Blueberry..compare to after 21 days on my last grow..

Day 28

I love it! They are all recovering nicely from their 1st topping with no suprise that the Blueberry is closest to its 2nd already. They are really developing their individual profiles especially the 2 Pinnapple Express looking completely unrelated. I really enjoy the watering wand and will probably never go back to the old ways again. This is the most boring time imo just being patient to chop on babies some more but I can assure you all it will be worth it when each is fully trained and developed. Cheers 420 see ya next week! :ganjamon:

Day 35

They recieved their first feeding of 4-4-4 by topfeeding the other day. and im pretty sure ive been so worried about overwatering that Ive actually started to do the opposite by mistake...not enough. My Blueberry looks horrid today...and all the others look like they could follow suit. In response I have completely drenched them and hoping thats all it is..checked soil 6.5 ph.
They are all coming very close to their second toppings...I just want to be sure they are recovering from the "drought" before doing anything else.
Thanks 420!! Pink Cookies diamonds n sauce today alternating with French Toast buds mmm. Peace guys

Could be just the light or camera, but do they look a little pale to you? Good timing for the feeding

They look hungry. As far as watering you mixed coco and soil. Coco needs daily water, soil doesn't. You're going to have to experiment with water amounts. Also take that moisture meter and trash it.

Day 42

All four girls got up potted to 7 gallon pots along with their second toppings about 3 days ago. They were definitely hungry and thirsty before and seem to be doing much better this week thankfully. I think ill agree with you Deketx that moisture meter aspect of that thing works, just doesnt seem accurate and you were right about water just takes some trial and error. I personally believe my soil/coco mix does best with the method of simply picking pots up to feel how heavy or light they are. When they are so dry it seems effortless to lift in comparison to when they are full is when mine get the soaking. Also, I do like the PH meter part of the soil tester gizmo even though thats probably not accurate either. Been feeding every few weeks and am bumping up to once a week now. Thats about it for this weeks report...cheers 420! Strain of the week around here? "Oil Slick" shit is fiiire.

Hey there! 100% right my friend on all that im sure. Thank you for your feedback as is how ive learned all that i know so far...honestly, mostly from fellow growers and mostly from here. Please check back and see if I can make these girls camera worthy lol.

Yes, the picking up the pot method is the best. Feeding every couple weeks seems like a long time. I feed daily , I'm in FFHF with perlite added.

Day 50 of Veg

Holy cow ladies..each looking completely different now as you can see them taking on more of a bush like shape. I think ive decided on leaving them to grow natural from here. They look very healthy and if anything maybe some pre-flowering stage defoliation. Fed them their first round of bloom fertilizer this morning and going to be deciding on when they are ready for the flip...cya soon420. peace

20210515_222311.jpg

They look a tad droopy but keep in mind this is moments before their light clicks off, they definitely perk back up back in the mornings.

Update! Ive decided to let the veg cycle continue with an addition I personally have never tried. I am extremely excited to see what happens, my main effort is to maximize yield as much as possible. 3/4 of them seem like they are going to "vine" right into place while what used to be the runt is still not quite as tall or limby as its genetic sis or the other 2 strain. We'll see how they do, this seems like the way to go with how they are looking and feeling but as always Im open to my fellow growers' advice or opinion.
Cheers all !! :ganjamon:

Day 57 of veg

They are really coming along nicely and fast like i want now. Countless tiers and trying to fill the net as much as possible. Although I do love growing as large as possible, they will still grow some during their flowering stage also Id like to get some buds done by the end of summer at least!! lol..so im thinking 1 more week of veg and its flip time. Cheers all from our garden to yours...dabs for all. :hookah:

Day 63

It is finally time to flip the lights from their current 18/6 schedule to 12/12. Very exciting to watch them from this moment forward. They are already smell amazing and all four showing signs they are ready for flowering to begin. Trimmed a few light blocking fan leaves and got out my trusty dehumidifier to run outside of tent. Plan on dropping RH by about 10% each week and will do my best to moderate their nights for a cooler enviornnent. Have a great day 420 and we'll check back soon .

Day 15 of Flowering

Wow! They are really florishing and I cant wait to see these buds develop and take on individual profiles. Went ahead and removed the net as they are all four very bushy with about 10-12 main colas per plant. Fed each a heaping 1/4 tspn of 4-8-4 all organic bloom fertilizer about 3 days ago(once a week) and been watering about 60-70 oz each every few days. Ive done minimal defoliation and even a very small amount of super cropping on the tallest colas. See ya next week and I can only hope they continue to do this well. Peace 420! :ganjamon: :goodluck:
