To trim or not to trim

Coming up on the end of the third week of 12/12. I did one pretty heavy defoliation a week into the switch. Had been doing LST, just untied the girls tonight. My question is, should I do another pruning? Thin up some of the fan leaves? Take out some of the smaller bud sites? Or should I just let them do their thing?

Yup. Pick that tiny shit that grows at the base of the stem off. In my opinion of course.

I defoliate and do pick off low budsites and stuff that looks like it won’t amount to much.

Last run I had a plant tied down and took off the anchors during flower. The branches ended up closing in a bit. This time I’m leaving everything as is, tied down.

Generally one does a defoliation on day 21 of flower - take all fan leaves off - don't worry doing it a day 21 leaves time for the plant to recover + give additional light to bud sites !

That's fine - they will fill out - and double in size at least Happy Cultivation !!

Awesome! This is my first grow, done a LOT of research but still pretty unsure of myself lol should I keep cutting them every few weeks as they fill in or just let em go wild from here on out?

from now on just remove any fan leaves that block bud site lighting - never remove more that 4-5 at a time - it will be a while before you start that. (weeks 5-6) Remember to remove all the fans leaves 4 days before harvest this help the plant dry out
