Very nervous, 1st harvest: are my buds ready yet

I'm thinking a couple/few more weeks but that's just me.
It looks like it needs to fill in a bit and start a little fan leaf dying.
But I've been smoking all day long . . . . :lot-o-toke: so I don't know . . . damn, I'm F'ed up. o_O

All good my friend you have calmed my anxiety lol,I will send you a pic in 14 days for an update if that's ok

Been flowering since November, so almost 12 weeks? Stick a fork in her bud, she’s done. The color of the fan leaves doesn’t indicate anything about whether or not she’s fully matured. Fan leaves don’t need to die for a plant to be ready, so don’t go by that.

the only white pistils I saw in your photos was on a foxtail. Everything else was very brown and curled up. I also am seeing a lot of amber in the trichomes on the buds. If I had to guess, I’d say you’re somewhere in the 30-50% amber range. I might go as far as to say she might be overripe. If you don’t want to just chop her, at the very least take a bud as a sample and dry it quick over the next few days and give it a taste... I’ll bet it makes you sleepy.

G'day CDG nice to hear from you
I am in South East Queensland
She is an outside grow since germination as part of the normal outdoor season here which I believe is from around August thru till aprilish so it can't be treated like an indoor grow because it's not.
It is my first grow outdoors and I'm not familiar with the 2 week window for harvesting here
I liked what you had to say however I have to weigh up what 6 different peeps are advising uno what I mean eh
The only thing that concerns me a little is they don't seem to be totally thick just a little on the lite side
IF I LEAVE IT ANY LONGER CAN I FYCK THE PLANT ( EXCUSE FRENCH IM AN OSSI....

You need to watch the calyces ; the trichomes can stay cloudy (max THC) without turning hardly any amber while the calyes grow (and even foxtail) while you wait and wait for amber. Right now they do not look very swollen (Not 'filled-in" is the common parlance) or not thick as you are saying (perhaps).
It's early so I'm not too high.
Yet.

We need to see a very close up shot of one single flower that fills the entire frame and one of the trichomes.
If we could see the large leaves turning colors (carotenoid pigments retained in the plastids after the chlorophyll is lost) or even dying in those far away shots, someone would hazard a guess, but it needs to be closer than this without those small clues.
H do these look now do you think

Several weeks at least. Looks like it could fill in a lot.
Nice pictures!
That's what I'm thinking , they Gunna be huge, I think I will reassess in seven days at a time for now , fukn can't wait to have a spliff

Hey man, nice job.... looks like a few more weeks to go at least..
Tip: Use the flash on your phone when taking a pic as it improves the photo standard.
Buds will start to fill out and then then ripen...yellowing of the cab leaves occurs then too.
Good luck man....
