the only thing i can say is check the herb it came from, if there are a lot of seeds chances are its a hermaphrodite plant and your seed will grow in to a hermaphrodite as well. I grew two bagseeds from the same source, they both grew bananas and ball sacks early into flower. i only grew one plant at a time so i was able to sit there and pick off all the male parts and she ended up just focusing on female flower after the first 3 weeks or so of flowering. she grew into some pretty nice herb, but its a complete gamble. also i had no idea how long it was going to take for her to finish ripening. you could think you have an indica that will finish at 8 or 9 weeks and it ends up being 10+
if the herb from which it came from looks nice and there arent too many seeds id say give it a whirl and like someone previous said, its a great way to get your feet wet as a grower before spending money on prime genetics
