Also I would think that if you maintain a high humidity like above 40 eventually mold and moisture would build up. The paint will probably help. Just a thought.

WOW! I like your cfl multi-bulb set up. I have been using clip-ons with socket doublers, which, all totaled, probably cost more than adapting a bathroom fixture.

There are advantages to using separate clip-ons, however. Not all my plants are the same height, and I can give each one its own adjustable pair of bulbs.

PS: put a smoke detector near the box. You're using cardboard, and it won't take much heat for it to start smokin' on its own.

AK does bring a good point. That looks like you should be fine with the cfls in that fixture. If you keep a uniform crop you will be fine with that fixture. I don't remember what variety you had but you can make it work with what you got.

I need to get some more 6500k bulbs to use for veg and I'm gonna do a mixture with 6500k and 2700k during flower

I also have a friend who has some tents set up with leds. He is currently running Doc bud's hi brix organic soil and etc. Should I follow in his foot steps? Because I believe that in order for me to successfully grow some high grade, "loud", or medicinal grade Marijuana I must feed the plant with so to speak chemicals vs. Collected, and strained rain water??
