Wick foot size

Seen a dude here with giant feet others using rope n cloth
If your in a 5gal bucket what size wick foot do you use ?

depends on bucket or build type, some do 5 to 6 inch center column, I used inverted net pot so mine has an inch and a half tapered ring around outside perimeter for a wick foot.

Like them pots they sell? Do they work better than centre pot ?

I've built both styles and seemed to get the same results with both. The size of the reservoir and soil connector in each were the same size, but I'm not sure how much that matters. A side-by-side test would help there and I may do that at some point, but either seem to produce great plants.
