Young plant growing only 3 leaves

Hello growers,

I have a young plant, about 5 weeks from seed. Since it's my first grow I know I made some nasty mistakes that slowed growth quite a bit. First was the light, made it stretch a bit but I sorted that out long ago and node spacing looks fine. Then I manage to hit it (bad) and actually did a sort of super-cropping before the first node grew but I put it back up and used something to suport it and she recovered from that too. Also recently I got a cheap PH soil tester and found that it was quite high, a bit over 7.5 so I watered with a PH at about 5.3 and that also got sorted out. Sadly now she is starting the 4th node and except the fact that it's tiny for 5 weeks, wich I assume was due to PH, it doesn't grow more than 3 fingers per leave. I was thinking she should get at least 5 by now. I've read that this could be due to light leaks, but the forums were talking about it when it was in flowering, not in early veg. The strain is Critical from Royal Queen Seeds, it's genetic background is Afghani x Skunk.
Now the question is: is this some sort of wierd mutation, is it normal for this strain or am I doing something wrong?

Check out what I have, and what I did so far (with advice from other people on here.) I saw no growth at 5 weeks same thing. If you get the soil and watering right I’ll show what happens a couple weeks or so from now for you.

I just started too! I’m about 2-3 weeks ahead of you. Don’t be worried.

Some indica dominate plants start out slow naturally.

I had no knowledge of this. Good to keep in mind. Thanks alot!

Thanks, those images really helped, now I am really not worried anymore. Good luck :)

This is “squirt” this is 15 days difference...

I bent mine at an almost 90° angle when she was about 2 weeks old. If it recovered from that, yours will most certainly do. The one in the second image looks nice though. Thanks for help and good luck man. :)
