150mh vs 600hps

I know some never use anything but cfl's or even T8's for veg. going HID just speeds up the time so you can get to flower quicker. Some like to stick with a 400 watt MH 2 weeks into flower to minimize stretch, then switch to HPS... but maybe that'd work with just a 150 watt MH also... I really don't think it matters much while you're still in veg.

This weekend will be 3 weeks, 3 node stacks at about 6 inches. We started lst on a few yesterday.

hmmm yea I would keep the mh on them for a minute - if you do start using the HPS you will have to keep using it - any switching from higher wattage HID to lower will almost definitely cause stretching. If you are LSTing the MH is definitely a better spectrum for veg growth but you will no doubt see improved growth rates with the 600w hps just because it is 4x as powerful. I think you could change if you want to or you could wait - if you're LSTing for a while the MH is smart to save lots of electricity.
