Vegging w/ 150MH vs 600HPS

While I am just re-starting growing after 20 years, I would have to say go with the 600HPS. You get more of the red sprectrum and more watts is always better.
In fact, at present as I build up my lighting, I'm using a 600HPS for both cycles, only changing the time cycle.

Well there is no doubt at all that they love the blue spectrum during veg... however, the 600w HPS will give off more lumens which the plant will love just as much.
I'd stick with the 150w MH until it gets big enough to throw it under the 600w HPS for the last 2 weeks of veg or so.
