I'm brand new to the forum, been reading for weeks, decided to join. I plan on starting a soil grow, and I thought this would be the best place to document it and get some advice along the way. This looks like a great community, I look forward to learning/growing with you guys.

panta, i got 5 og kush seeds. i actually have a bag seed (unknown strain) growing 25 days strong. decided if i was going to start growing, i should grow something worth growing.

I'll adopt you as my first mentor, I have the 5 seeds.

I'm starting them in a rapid rooter tray.

They'll be under an EnviroGro T5 2FT- 4 Tube light

And for soil, I picked up a bag of foxfarm ocean forest.

what's your technique for seed starting? and do you have a go to seed bank? I am thinking about what to grow next.

Sounds like a brilliant start. FFOF is supposed to be the best I hear. I mix my own soil around a base of Promix HP.

I like to buy all my seeds in person, I'm just a little paranoid about shipping such directly to my house. I do have a nice little stash of Durban Poison beans from my last grow too. As far as starting them, I soak them overnight, then plant them in a really light soil (hardly any nutes) and keep them really humid and warm. They usually pop within 48 hours
