8 quart pot 2 plants 1 male 1 female tried to pull the male too many roots I need too get the male out can I cut the male and leave the roots from the male in the same pot or will the roots hurt the female plant thanks

they should just breakdown and turn to food for your female.

the only way they will break down AND be readily available as nutrients for the other roots is if you use hygrozyme and bennificial mycrobes with your waterings. otherwise roots just rot and are bad news for the living plant.
