U.S. Border Patrol officers found 90 packets of pot hidden inside the seats, panels and doors of a minivan at the Lukeville port of entry, authorities said Tuesday.

The driver, a 50-year-old man, was acting suspiciously during an initial inspection Sunday and was referred to a second inspection, officials said.

A dog trained to find narcotics alerted authorities to the back of the blue 2002 Dodge Caravan. Officers found a bundle of pot hidden inside a panel, then later discovered additional packages in a side quarter panel, seats and doors.

The 90 packages in the minivan weighed more than 100 pounds and had an estimated value of more than $86,000.

The man was arrested and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
