a little help please, first harvest

hey folks, this will be my first harvest and would welcome any info on drying and pruning the proper way the do's and don'ts . 9 weeks into flower (had a short veg state ). only 1 out of seven made it....plant and the bud/flower is about the size of a large fist. the plant has all the traits of being ready, frosty, amber , swollen calyx , pistils that are brownish and white . an early thank you for your help. some recent pics

the brown leaves you see on the pic to the left are just old leaves that have been with the plant since veg.

Good to hear about your first harvest buddy, but sounds quite small. Also how come the others didnt make it? better luck next time.

Anyway once you harvest I would trim the leaves off, then hang them upside down in a dark room for up to 2wks (make sure they don't touch each other). After their dry put them in a glass jar to cure them, you'll need to open the jars for a couple of mins daily for best results the first few weeks.

You should sample a bit of your bud before you start curing & then again midway through in order to see the difference. Try to cure for a month. Also there's loads of info on the forum; Harvest, Preparation & Curing Good luck
