Advice on cold grow room (Will a 250w work)

I just checked on the closet and temps are down to 61 with the lights on and it's only going to get colder. I do not want to run a heater.

As of now I have a 100w Diamond Series. If I get a 250w HPS with an open air reflector will my closet warm up a bit but not get too hot. I don't want to add any vents as I am renting my place.

My main grow space is 3x3x5. My closet is 5.5x3x8. I plan to put up a poly door and have the lights inside the 3x3 area and the heat will rise and disperse a little into the other area that I use for prep and storage.

Does this sound like it would work smoothly? Never messed with HPS.

Yeah a 250 will heat the room. You will need vents though, even if you stay with your current light. Plants need constant fresh air. The air should be replenished in your grow room every 2-5 minutes. With no fresh air your plants won't get enough co2 and will not grow well at all.

Yeah I know vents are very important. I just have to get around to it. Open air with a nearby window is doing fine for now.
