Agents Raid Marijuana Growing Operation In Volusia

Agents in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., busted a major indoor marijuana growing operation Wednesday, according to Local 6 News.

The Volusia Bureau of Investigation seized about 170 marijuana plants valued at more than $150,000 after serving a search warrant at David Estok's, 32, home located at 4542 Shadow Walk Lane.

The marijuana plants were seized from an extensive indoor growing operation that had been set up inside a mobile home on the property.

The growing operation included a light and watering system hooked up to electronic timers.

Agents also seized about 50 grams of cultivated marijuana and OxyContin tablets during the raid.

Estok was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of OxyContin and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Estok was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach on $11,500 bond.
