The Alaska Cannabis Institute will soon be holding a Business Forum to help those interested in joining the new industry get started.
The Forum will be held on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st on the Alaska Pacific University campus.
The Summit will allow participants to network with other people wanting to get into the industry and the event will also feature a variety of speakers.
And the Forum will hopefully answer many of the common questions the Alaska Cannabis Institute hears from people wanting to break into the industry.
"A lot of it has to do with local, state, federal regulations, you know the compliance, a lot of compliance issues, so we'll be discussing that as well as zoning regulations and tax structure and and we'll be going over the application process and everything that's involved," said Conrad Daly who is the Executive Director of the Alaska Cannabis Institute.
