Am i drying right?

Hello all
I have a quick question im hopeing someone can help me with. I just harvested lastnight and am hanging my buds on string to dry I've already noticed a drop in smell and starting to smell green like leaf. I just don't want them to smell like this when fully dry . Im drying in the dark with no temp control.

Yeah i think im going to build a room just for dryingand curing with screen shelves where i can control temp and humidity..... Any suggestions for that?

60-70 degrees F / 50-55% rh ... to cure properly you need a good Hygrometer, Caliber III available on Ebay for less than $20 w/ shipping / don't buy junk ... then study a good cure tutorial ... you will be glad you did ... it's very easy to cure properly ... and worth the effort !

Post #8 is the way I do it ... What is the best way to dry and preserve the cure for smooth, sweet buds?

Just put them in the dark with a fan blowing, and curing is when you put them in jars that are air sealed for a week or month depending

If you look at my grow journal in my signature, you will see the box I built on page 1 of my journal. Once they are done flowering. I plan to chop them and hang them right inside my grow box. I'll just turn the light off and let the ventilation fan run. Should dry them pretty efficiently since it's a closed system. I still can't decide whether I want to hang a drying net in there, or make little shelves that I can slide in when I want to dry. I can easily control temp and humidity with my vent fan.
