Strange smell when curing

After drying autoflower white widow in paper bag for 1 week, I noticed classic sweet pot smell has turned to smell more like hay. It’s been in AC dark closet, so am not thinking it’s moldy. Any others with similar issue? Thnx!

Hay smell is drying to fast. Run a humidifier in the drying room. Burp for an hour a day for like 2-3 weeks and get boveda 62% humidity packets to keep it moist.

Thnx for your input. Now I’m totally confused though since I thought it was best to avoid humidity during drying and curing.?

I usually get a hay smell for a week or so when I'm curing. I've never considered it a problem just part of the process. Maybe I m drying too fast....IDK

As mentioned above just keep burping your jars daily till it passes. I find that once the hay goes away it's almost ready for toking.
