Are they ready yet?

We are in week 7 of an 8 week budding cycle. All of our flowers have white hairs on them and have not turned red yet, the red hairs are the usual for this strain. Usually this strain has red hairs by 5 weeks and most of the fan leaves have turned yellow or purple. it did get hot in the room for a few nights but we tried to keep it as cool as possible by turning 1 light on at a time. Just wondering if there are any suggestions as of why they could be stuck. BTW, we started to feed them just water last week. (Week 6). Could the heat for those days have stunted them? Or do we need to add a nutrient? Please help.

hay sleepy. dont use no nutrients bro just let it do its thing. dont let the temp get no more than 80' or so. you are almost thare. hope this helps good luck!!!

From what I have read you need to check the thc when about 70-80% are amber or cloudy then you harvest. Don't go by the hairs.
