GA3 is a natural plant hormone that obviously has a lot of uses in plant development. One concentration can prove especially useful in stimulating tough seed germination.
In this application, one can apply generally a 100ppm solution (easily prepared) on some early budding sites of a female plant for several days in a row. The result can be male flowers producing pollen to pollinate female flowers on the same plant. But it does not alter the XX genetics of the plant. So the seeds will be feminized, producing only females. Alternatively, an entire female plant can be treated to pollinate another female or a room full of them. That may be more convenient and is the way to produce instant crossbreed feminized seeds. GA3 is cheap and widely available. Got some on eBay in the past.
