Blue veins in weed? Anyone have an idea?

i noticed in the veins of the buds i just picked theirs a bright blue color. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

hmmm... i dunno man... but I've heard of people putting cough syrup (for the dxm, dumbasses) in the soil.... i don't know if thats it though, i wouldnt worry about it...

my g/f mentioned something about round up the weed killer being sprayed on plants and causing the veins to turn blue . meaning the round up would be a carcinogen(not cool)
