bought plant light 50w for weed plant...

okay, so i was using some pink light i jacked from my mother in law, she used it to grown herbs and stuff. it did alright for my plant, i kno its a female, it has lots of white hairs...so anyways, i bought two 50w bulbs ideal for indoor plant growth hoping it would speed the process of the budding, well i noticed the hairs turned red, am i burning it?

It would probably help if you posted some pics of what's happening. It's normal for the hairs to turn into an amber color as the flowers mature. How close is your light to the area you suspect may be burned? Also, what kind of lights are you using, florescent?

Post pics... How long has it been flowering? What your lighting times 12 on 12 off? It is normal for white stigmas (hairs) to changes redish ,brownish color later in flowering.
