Bubble cloner foam?

So for a DWC cloner, you want the bottoms of the stems just above the waterline so the bubbles pop and splash them with water right?

Well I was thinking, could you add a little soap to make a foam above the waterline? if the soap didn't hurt the cuttings wouldn't this be a great environment for them?

in jorge's book it says "add a few drops of biodegradable liquid dishsoap to the irrigation water. detergent makes the water penetrate the soil more thoroughly"
and it has a pic of palmolive.

What do you guys think?

I just did an experiment, 1 drop liquid dish soap to 1 gallon water. it seems to foam and overflow until some of the soap gets pushed out of the solution with the bubbles, then it foams very little.

So lets say i figure out a way to pop the bubbles before they leave the container, so that the liquid just drips back into the res? would the environment be good for rooting?

Pit don't make me get the japanese guy in here!

ok ok if it won't work, it won't work.
I thought i had a good idea.

mebe you do have a great idea...but I dont think it is. you will never know unless you try it. Hes still around in another name...Godzilla is ever watchful.....
