ok so i have two plants, one is growing significantly faster than the other. i need to send the larger one into flowering b/c i don't have that much room for it to grow if i don't do it soon. the other one can use a bit longer to veg for sure. they are on 18/6 light now. i don't have a place to put the smaller one to keep it on 6 hours dark, can i just put it back on 24 hr light so i don't have to work about the dark for it now
can i go from 18/6 back to 24

If you put the smaller plant in a different area, you can put it on 24 hours of light, then move it under the flowering light when it has grown to the size you want.

Since both 18/6 and 24/0 are pretty much the range for the vegetative stage, you're fine if you would like to move between the two.
However.. there have been many threads and topics on this and lots of evidence showing that not only is 24/0 not necessary and will only waste electricity, but your plants need that extra "sleep" time..
