Can I plant directly from Rockwool?

I have a few clones in rockwool. What do you normally do when you want to plant them? Do you take the rockwool "off" somehow? Or do you leave it on and just stick it "as is" in the dirt?

I stuck mine straight into the soil. I covered mine in Azos and Mykos before transplanting them. I think because the roots are too intertwined in the rockwool, you would be causing too much stress trying to remove it. I just recently transplanted a few into soil from rockwool.
