Winnipeg - Police have finally finished removing all the marijuana plants from a Winnipeg home that was the scene of the largest grow operation ever uncovered in the city.
Early last Thursday, investigators discovered the plants in a warehouse in north-central Winnipeg.
Police spokesman, Constable Shelley Glover, says the job of removing them all wrapped up around mid-morning today, with the final count at almost 5,600 plants.
Glover says investigators are still dismantling the grow equipment.
Police say the bust was the result of an ongoing investigation into the Asian drug trade in Winnipeg.
