Cannabis and Insomnia.. Obtaining?

I am an undiagnosed insomniac, and cannabis is the only method I've found that puts me into a comfortable sleep. (I've been on several different types of medication, tranquilizers, etc. Nothing seems to do the trick.) I've been meaning to speak to my doctor about prescribed THC pills. I also suffer from OCD and serious anxiety, and again, cannabis is the best method I've discovered.

I'm going to request the THC pills, but I'm nervous that I will be turned down.

What is the likelihood that I would have success getting the prescription, in your opinion?

Any advice on accomplishing this?

I've not heard of Marinol being prescribed for sleep. FYI - the sedative effect from Marijuana principally comes from the Cannabinoid CBD, which occurs in varying levels in different natural strains.

Marinol does not include CBD, it's only synthetic THC so it doesn't have "nature's intended balance of Cannabinoids"

If you have anxiety problems I'd be cautious with any strain or pill that lacks CBD.
