Carbon Filter

I am on my third indoor grow and always have my filter connected.
Do most people disconnect the filter when not in later flower? Does running without it collecting odors lessen the filters longevity?

Thanks :peace:

Hey Stinker,

When it's on and running- the clock on the lifespan is ticking.

I think most have it disconnected when in early veg.

Hope that helps!

For what it's worth I run filters on intake and exhaust all the time, more so to keep bugs and dust out than to control the smell. If it's just about the smell, no need um until the plant starts to stinker :yummy:

Hello @stinker Hope your having a good day.
I ran 2 flower rooms 24/7 the only time I turned fan off was to clean cloth cover on the carbon filter.
They only last so long though, when ever it's on its diminishing the life span.
So if you don't need it turn it off.
Stay safe.
Bill
