CFL bulb

I have a couple of cfl bulbs in my phototron in the middle hanging down- I know that plants use different colors and yesterday at Menards I saw they were selling red, blue, and green spiral cfl's for 2.99 ea. Would any of these be worth buying? Thanks

any of them expect for the green one, bulbs on the blueish side are good for veg growth and the red is good for those buds
plants dont get anything out of any green light believe it or not haha

How many watts, you would probibly use more then it is worth, hps is not all red 2300-3000K orange yellow red.
You should check into lummuns & output watts more then a colors.
