Changing Light Cycles?

Hey guys Jari here! Could anybody share their knowledge on changing light cycles?

I'm currently growing x4 Big Buddha Cheese x Cheese on a 24H cycle. I'm wondering how possible it is to adjust the light cycle to 18/6 baring in mind I would then be switching to 12/12 in 2-3 weeks. Will changing light cycle induce stress? Will they notice the shortening of the day and start to flower if I change to 18/6?

Any thoughts views and opinions guys much appreciated!

I think it would be fine, as long as you aren't giving it 12 hours of darkness it should hum along nicely in veg. Maybe run the dark schedule in the day time to minimise power bills.

My experience, I just flip the switch to go from 24h to 18/6. That being 6 hours of darkness. No stress at all. Even going to 12/12.
