Faulty Light Timer & irregular light Cycles

Hi Guys/Gals,
I have a timer thats played up twice now, I'm on a 18/6 veg cycle at the moment,
Twice in the last week the timer has not turned the lights off @ the correct time & I didn't notice till I got home.
(they had been on for an extra two hours)
So it has had two cycles of 20/4 in the last week.
needless to say I will be replacing the faulty unit.

Will this cause problems or hermies?

Nah, should be fine.
If they were in flower it would just bump your harvest date back
