Just thought I’d share my cheap solution to growing indoors before transplanting outside.
I have used tin foil and presentation boards from the dollar store to create a reflective enclosure, not sure if this is doing anything but my plants ARE outgrowing their current home. This enclosure cost me around $30 in materials.
The lights are cheap LED’s, one from Home Depot and the other is an amazon special, they total around $100cad.
The Home Depot buckets I’m growing in were $4 each, I’ve just drilled some drainage into the bottoms of the buckets.
I made light structures out of offcuts I had laying around (this is why they look so crappy lol).
I will be transplanting into 30 gallon fabric pots that I found on amazon, 5 for $40.
$186CAD, not sure whether it’s been well spent but at least I have four reasonably healthy plants! They’ll be moved outside this weekend so I may look to upgrade the indoor facility.
