chlorine in tap water

how soon can you use tap water, i normally wait 24hrs until chlorine evaporates. would it evaporate quicker in a bath with more surface area as i only filled the bath 11 hrs ago could i use this for flushing now???? would the chlorine be gone and would it be safe to the plants to use????

please help

I have a little airstone that I run when I am rushed for water.... I can't imagine that would kill the plants or hurt them much by using that water..

BeIrie i have no airstone but it should be ok to use what i have yeah??
