Chopping Tops Veg Cycle

1 of my plants has grown 2 quickly! Is it ok to chop the top off and still carry on with the veg cycle 16on 8off ?

Yes it should be fine, the only time you don't want to top or prune is during the flowering period or shortly before entering 12/12.

I agree with lst you wont have to chop her but will just make her better! more bushy and more budsites!

Probably a male. They tend to grow tall.
I grow in a greenhouse using pots. I'll lay them on their sides and the stems bend naturally.

another way of gettin more budsites & keeping the plant low is a procedure known as FIM'ín. Instead of chopping the entire top off, just chop about 3/4 of the desired area (leaving about a 1/4 of the top) & you'll notice as the next few days past 2 more budsites growing out of that 1 budsite you chopped & that top part you chopped, you can clone it! Sweet aye?! ;D BTW just because a MJ plant grows tall doesn't mean it's a male. It probably has more of a SATIVA trait. Indicas:Short, fat, bushy plants that give you a couch lock high ie-NL, hashplant, blueberry. Sativas:Tall, thin, long thin leaf plant that gives you more of a energetic high ie-Haze(mostly anything in the haze family). Some strain have 50/50 traits. All strains differ buddy ;] Keep smoking...

I should say all things being equal the males tend to dominate. I was just trying to console.
I take it you're leaving about 1/4 of the stem past the last node?
I've been trying the super crop method with some success. Instead of topping the stem is bent, broken if you will, at the same point as you describe. Utube video.
