Clones in water

Hey everyone I started my first grow two weeks ago with some Great White Shark clones. My friend cut them from a plant that was 8' at the time. I haven't seen any roots but white bumps are forming all over the stem. I just wanted to make sure I'm doing everything right, I feel like I'm overstressing just because it's my first time

@Mjc5281 those are some big clones. With all of the leaves and shoots root development will most likely be slow. When there are less leaves and ways for the plant to absorb sunlight, they focus on rooting. Also, putting the clones fully submerged in water, the plant dosent necessarily need roots to absorb water so that slows you down too.

Aeroponic cloners are the best hands down. 100 success rate and clones in as few as 3-5 days.

Will do thanks for the help
Mjc that is how I take clones, it takes a little longer than a cloner but it works. On some I get the white bumps and then roots and on others I just get the roots and no bumps. Don't know why. Just hang in there and you will get roots. Niwashi is right next time do as he said up there when taking the clones, yours will just be slower rooting.

Since you do the same how do you start out with nutrients? I planned on soaking the soil 2 days before I transplanted them, then I was going to start out with 1/3 of the recommended nutrients
