Topped clone?

So a few weeks ago I took a lower branch off of a vegging plant. She's starting to root (3days ago I saw white bumps.) Now this was my first attempt at cloning and I learn a lot as I go lol. She happens to have 2 maim branches coming off of her. Is this okay? Will she grow like a topped plant or what? Haven't found much in googlw.

She will be fine. I had a seedling mutation start off with three growing tips, which I spotlighted in my journal.

You have a head start on LSTing. If you want more growing tips, pinch back both tips when they develop 4 nodes. You can pinch back THOSE four when they get to 4 nodes, too.

The other alternative is to tie the two branches down when they get long enough to produce side branches. It's pretty much up to you, what method you use to increase yield.

When will I start to see growth. And how long until soil? A week or so?

Not long, now! I don't have any luck rooting clones in water, so I don't know if there is a method to transition between water and soil. Maybe someone withe experience will chime in?

You'll see top growth when the roots are settled into their growth medium, about a week, maybe. They grow roots first, leaves later.

I root in soil, so I transplant to a real pot when I see new leaf growth, or the rooting container gets rootbound.
