CO2 question

Plants produce Co2 in the night time period/lights off !

When its day light or lights on period plants use Co2 for growth...

In the past people have mentioned using extraction fan on a timer along with Co2 injection/discharge unit optimal Co2 is aprox 1500ppm.

Other suggestions is brewers yeast and sugar in a 2 litre bottle etc some times you can find Co2 related stuff in hydro online shops !

I don't worry about Co2 myself bit difficult to get optimal results with out a true controlled enviroment ! fresh air has got plenty of Co2 in it providing ya got good ventilation going & once ye get into a lil bit of super cropping... ya won't even think about the stuff :thumb:

CO2 is added during lights on because it's a part of photosynthesis.

They intake CO2 and release oxygen.

Typically if it's a tank you won't leave it running non-stop, it will go off in intervals, and at those times you can set your fans to turn off, also put backdraft dampers in to keep CO2 within.

Or if you're a smaller grower just get something like the Green Pad.
