Hi, What is the idea temperature for growing?
My basement is 68 degrees for most of the year, even in the summer time.
The temp. outside is 86(30C) and the basement is still 70 degrees.
Even with a 400W the temp may rise 2 degrees.
Should I heat the room while light is on and then turn it off during the dark cycle.
The positive side is I do not have any bugs.

you want between 72 and 76, some people like to go down as low as 68 or more to get the leaves to turn purple. then call it "purp" haha
sounds like you have a good grow place.
