Dark Time

Hey all! This may sound a bit silly, but I can't resist going down to see my plants while they're sleeping. I read somewhere that green light will not disturb dark time so I put a few layers of green tissue paper over a flashlight and voila, green light.

Am I crazy and going to turn my girls into hermies?

Hmmm, thanks for the info but now I'm as confused as ever. I don't actually flash the light on them for more than a minute or so and the other times are spent sitting 25 feet away smoking a doob.

I run a low wattage green light bulb so I may inspect my plants during the dark period without issues.

My problem is that I have is that I have to walk down about 10 stairs then about 15 feet in the dark as well.

You don't think my green tissue paper idea is ok?

Last thing I want is hermies ...

I would schedule your maintenance when your light is on and not off.

I agree with kjc and if you want pics without the light take em immediately after the lights go out
I never do stuff after lights out I shut the tent and don't bother with it

Well, I have sort of gotten onto a backwards schedule and don't know how to go about switching the cycle time ... remember, I also smoke my doobs in the basement

If you are going to switch the time of day when your lights are on and off you should extend the dark period until the time is to your schedule.
