Different stages of ripening

Hey all. I have 2 plants getting close. Although they were both planted on the same day and raised identically, one went in to flower sooner than the other and looks like it will be ready sooner.

Is this common?

Yes. Genetic variation is very common.

K thx. These 2 are really quite different. One's pretty much perfect and the other is spindlier with a lot of larfy popcorn on it. They're both pretty though
