Fat buds and skinny buds

Hey all. Pretty new to growing but have a number of plants doing pretty good right now. Have a quick question about bud density. 2 plants (Girl scout crack or something. Ha!) that are both following identical timelines (6 weeks into flowering). Both planted in the same soil etc. One is clearly developing fatter buds than the other. Technique or genetics? Any questions let me know. Sorry if not enough info but to new to know what else to tell you.

All else being equal, same soil, same amount of light, same nutrients, then its genetics.
