Dimming Meanwell Driver

Super quick noob question here. I've got a HLG-240H-48A driver, with both Vo ADJ and Io ADJ. Which of the two is best to dim with?

Depends on what you're running!

I always keep the Io on max and adjust with the Vo on my QB's that can't be overpowered by the driver

Vo is voltage adjust and Io is max amp adjust.

Running the same samsung led boards as QB, just a different vendor than HLG. Folux Solutions. I shot an email to them asking the same question, they responded with "It’s the lo ADJ"

So....now I'm confused

Seems to stick with what I was told, use the Io ADJ

If you're sure your driver can't overpower the board(s) just try both, I get the most/easiest dimming using the Vo, but I have a driver for each board, so if you have 2+ in parallel and the boards are 48v it makes sense to have the Vo on max and dim with the Io

So, use the Io as you suggested should be safe yeah?

Yes, your boards are 2,7 amp max each and the driver puts out 5amp, so you're not able to overpower the boards (as long as the parallel circuit is intact)
