Do leds take longer to grow than hids

I've bought a small tent from AccessHydropondics and was researching their led lights. they have a pretty good deal for four panels that together will produce 180watts. I've had a small grow up in the basement using a 400watt hps with great results.

their rep said the only downfall would be it would take longer for the grow to mature, but couldn't tell me how much longer. Any stats on this?

It shouldn't take longer to grow. at 180w combined I would avoid these panels. Also they most likley have a weak spectrum, did they give you spectral outputs on the led panels?
