Does light/sunlight affectCuring?

I was talking to a person about curing, and he said that if its not in a dark place the chlorophyll still goes through the plant and makes it cure badly/not at all. I wasnt totally sure about the whole chlorophyll part. so thats why im posting this. stay green. peace.

Sunlight, particularily ultraviolet light, is not only bad for trichomes specifically, but it is harmful to any freshly harvested vegetative material. Direct sunlight wll make the fresh buds start to rot and degrade faster, rather than a slow curing process that preserves the THC and the plant material itself, and also makes the buds taste better. Curing is not so much about having NO light on them, so much as it is about driving away the moisture slowly to obtain a clean burning product.

completely dark, light will set you up for humidity and eventually rot/decay.
