Does my clone need 12 hours sunlight to continue budding?

Hi there!
I recently was forced to relocate my beautiful bush (not sure what genes, maybe heavenly haze?)
from my outdoor location to my friends apartment.

I live in Australia, so thanks to our constant sunlight my god in a pot has been thriving!
It is currently aprx 3-4 weeks into the budding stage and i've had it on a weekly 9 litre diet of water mixed with Seasol (concentrated seaweed fertilizer) and a little sulfate of potash added into the mix.

So far all has gone without a hitch.
Until the bushfires came...
It is now living in my friends apartment in the city.
She needs to move it around the apartment during the day so that it catches sun through the windows.
Is it ok if there is no constant "full" sunlight during the budding process?
Ie. under 12 hours?

any help would be much appreciated!

:peace: :rollit:

PS. should I be feeding it anything else to help the buds get bigger? And I forgot to mention that its growing with soil in a medium sized pot

Thanks for the response!
A friend told me that if the buds don't get light they wont grow wider or in potency. Do you think this is true?
Forgive me if I appear paranoid but this is my first grow.
If I figure out how I may pop some pics up.

Cheers!

Oh sorry. I was told that if the plant received less than 12 hours of light whilst in the budding stage, its buds would be small and weak in its THC content as opposed to being large weighty buds that could get even an elephant stoned.
Apologies for not being clear.

Kind Regards
