Extremely tough plants

Not long ago I moved about 5 plants to my backyard after growing them inside for a few months, these plant are really slow growers and there's only one of them over a foot tall. Well I live in MN and one nice day i thought, what the hell, they'll be fine. A few days ago we got pretty hard cold rain mixed with hail. Also today it was slightly snowing. Now it's pretty nice out (for MN) and they still look fine. These plants are tough as hell- anyone know why they HAVEN'T died? :hmmmm:

I broke off half my plants root system when it was about 3 weeks old, then over fert. it pretty badly, and to top it all off I recently dropped a 7 pound light on it that turned about 80% of the leaves extra crispy.... But I can see new growth in it...

I actually thought they were considered herbs. Uh-oh!... Time to do a little research!........ :goof: ......................... :hmmmm: ..........Yep, it's a herb... Still a tough plant though.
