First grow

Hey everyone I'm doing my first grow and decided I'd try to flower one of my plants I think this is a Male can someone give me a quick second opinion it's just over one week into flower

Damn that's what I thought guess it's time to get rid of it

Yeah it's a male mate. Get it in the bin unless you fancy a shot at breeding sometime soon . Always by female seeds unless you want to breed. They're a bit more expensive but 99% fem from any decent breeder.

Yeah that's what I'm finding I bought ten regular seeds figured I had a better chance getting some to grow with ten instead of five or fewer

Well on the plus side he looks fairly healthy so you now know how to get them to bloom at least.

The problem with buying regular seed is that about half of them will be male. It's usually cheaper to buy feminized seed where close to the entire batch will produce female plants. If you decide to do so, you can produce seed from only feminized plants.
