First Hydro DIY

Living in the Mojave most of my life, I forget not everyone in the desert has to deal with the heat using evaporative cooling.. Most solutions to things of interest to me are of the diy approach.. Everything thing in that thread was self taught. My bad for jumping that far, to conclusions from desert heat..
The held down horizonal grow should work without any problems. Way back when, I once grew in a drainage ditch, overgrown with knee high grass.. I used J shaped hooks made from heavy gauge wire that is used on the bottom of chain link fencing. Took my dog for walk along it every 3or4 days and kept it penned down low.. Worked well enough that I got a small harvest..
Pity the man without a dog..

No problem, I myself enjoy diy projects and repurposing disposable items for life in a different capacity. Like for instance, the air filter box I put together to give me more vertical space in my grow tent for my current grow show.

Today makes week 6 and 2 weeks into flowering. Today was lite base nutes and heavy bud food day. The day after week 5 I had to do another trim but not as much as my first trim. And by looking at today's pics you'll understand why. So here's week 6 growth pictures.

I cut back on the base nutes to promote bud development and reduce major leaf growth. They are drinking up to 3 inches of solution every 2 days. Thirsty they are and the roots are the reason for such prolific rapid growth and development. More pics in 7 days.

Btw, it got cold yesterday in Nevada (63°day/50°overnight) and I had to turn on my furnace. Notice the 79°? That's from me heating up my home because I was freezing last night. LoL

Good morning, today was feed and cull day. I removed excessive fan leaf stretch and lower branch suckers and some unintentional FIM (Fuck I MIssed) growth. Take a look.

This Purple Punch is growing fat dense buds that's not even in the line of site for direct light. Amazing! I will be buying these genetics again. No Culling Needed.
