Fluorescent lighting & flower

Due to time restrictions ,i must start flower on 3 plants under the fluorescent lighting i did the veg with , then in two weeks move them into my hut under the 600 w hps. Has anyone done something like this before ? does it screw things up later on ?

I think as long as you keep enough light intensity per square foot you wont have a problem. I did a little experimental CFL grow and it worked out pretty well provided the lights were close enough. When you do switch over you may want to start with the lights a tad higher than usual and ease them into the HID lighting.
