Flushing auto

Can anyone give advice on flushing...I use bottled water ph.6 normally..what I wanted to know was when I flush can I use ordinary tap water which where I live is 7.4 or more...as your flushing out the nutes anyway..so does that ph matter ? Also am I right you have to use 3 times as much water as the pot holds..cheers

I personally have a ph of 7.4-7.8 out of the tap and i flush plants with this at times, having a small fluxuation of ph lvs is good for the plant helping it grab different nutreints that become more available at different ph lvs
